LONG BEACH – The 2024 Area Code Games are officially over after five days of action at Blair Field, home of the Long Beach State Dirtbags. And that field saw a lot of talent interesting its dirtiness, to say the least. The Northeast-based Yankees captured the unofficial ACG championship thanks to a 6-3 victory over the Royals to end the week.
And the Yanks didn’t take any of their competition lightly, outscoring them 28-8 in their five games. They also produced a number of talented players that we hope to see in college[…]
