Josh Maravich, former LSU basketball star and son of late Hall of Fame legend Pete Maravich, has died at the age of 42, according to an announcement from the university Saturday night.
An LSU statement said he died at home on Friday, but the cause of death has not been released.
Josh Maravich played as a tight end for LSU from the 2001-02 to 2004-05 seasons under coach John Brady.
