Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark graciously accepted her exclusion from the US women’s national basketball team’s Olympic roster on Sunday.
During practice, he spoke to reporters for the first time about not being selected for the 2024 team. He stated that being left out of the list makes him determined to fight for the place in 2028.
“I am happy with the girls in the team. I know that it is the most competitive team in the world and I know that it could have happened either way – to be in the team, not to be in the team,” he said, via The Athletic.
