Bangladesh bowlers have done a decent job, with Tanzim Hasan Sakib lending the attack with three crucial wickets. Work and Rishad Hossain provided significant success, while Mustafizur Rahman again Shakib Al Hasan contains the flow of successfully running. Despite the poor resistance of South Africa, Bangladesh scored a limited total, keeping their hopes alive with a successful chase.
Towhid Hridoy’s heroic effort ends
Chasing a target of 114 runs, Bangladesh got off to a poor start, losing early wickets. Tanzid Hasan again Najmul Hossain Shanto struggled to counter the South African attack with proper bowling. The South African bowlers played well to defend their value, with Maharaj once Kagiso Rabada leading with three wickets each. Anrich Nortje provided important achievements, during Ottneil Baartman again Marco Jansen kept the pressure on the Bangladeshi batsmen. Despite a strong effort from a lowly Bangladesh team, South Africa held on in the final overs to secure a hard-fought victory.

Mahmudullah was mistakenly dismissed LBW, the ball went off leg. The decision was reversed at DRS. Bangladesh did not score 4 runs as the ball was dead when the batter was dismissed, even if it was wrong. And SA ended up winning the game by 4 runs. Feel for the fans of Bangladesh. #SAvBAN #T20WC
