Wimbledon will be green this year.
The total prize fund for the Championships will be £50 million (about $63.8 million), which is an 11.9% increase on the £44.7 million awarded last year.

The men’s and women’s singles champions and runners-up will receive £2.7 million and £1.4 million (about $3.4 million and $1.7 million) respectively. The prize money for the first round of the singles competition is set at £60,000.

2023 Wimbledon Champions Carlos Alcaraz again Marketa Vondrousov Champions Carlos Alcaraz and Marketa Vondroussova each earned a record £2.35 million in their tournaments last summer.
The All England Lawn Tennis Club is also announcing that women’s and men’s prize money will rise by 11.9% in 2023, while Qualifying prize money will increase by 14.9%.
Wheelchair tennis at Wimbledon is also expanding: the singles and doubles draws will expand to 16 players and eight teams. Prize money for the wheelchair and quad wheelchair events is set at £1 million.
“With just days to go until the Championships, I am delighted to announce a record £50 million prize fund, which will be increased by players in every round and every event.” All England Club Chairman Deborah Jevans said in a statement. “I am delighted that we have been able to increase the prize money for the wheelchair and quad wheelchair competitions to £1 million for the first time.
“The interest in attending Wimbledon has never been greater, with unprecedented demand for tickets through our public voting and corporate hospitality. A successful, successful tournament gives us the opportunity to give back: to sport, to our local community, and to systematically invest in the future.”
The 2024 Wimbledon is scheduled for July 1-14.
