After leading the Dallas Mavericks to a decisive victory in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, Luka Doncic received high praise from teammate Kyrie Irving for his strong response to criticism.

After a tough Game 3 loss and scrutiny from critics, Doncic bounced back with an incredible performance, scoring 29 points to help force a crucial Game 5 against the Boston Celtics.

“I think he made a few people eat their words in a healthy way,” Irving said, acknowledging Doncic’s ability to rise to the occasion.
