In the final happy ending of the T20 World Cup 2024 conflict between England and South Africa, Aiden Markram find a game-winning awesome item to spend Harry Brook, guiding his team to victory. The intense match was played on Friday evening at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia.

England’s hopes of victory were put aside as they needed 14 runs from the final bowled by the fiery South African pacer, Anrich Nortje. Brook, who was batting in form, was on strike, and the momentum seemed to be in England. However, Markram’s incredible catch turned the game in South Africa’s favour.
Brook never mistimed a perfect delivery from Nortje, attempting a high shot midway through the game. The ball flew high in the air, but Markram, standing back, did not give up. Showing incredible athleticism, he ran back 18 yards, judged the route well, and jumped to catch his shoulder, making sure the ball wouldn’t go out of bounds.

Aiden Markram’s catch on Harry Brook was a big moment: Quinton de Kock
After South Africa’s second win in the Super 8 stage, wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock praised captain Markram for pulling the ball under his chin in a tough match.
“I have played on par with English boys around the world. He gets one of them to leave. They are all game winners; they can win games anywhere. It looks like Harry [Brook] he was on his way to do that so obviously Aidan [Makram] we took a great thing which was a big moment for us in the game,” De Kock, who was adjudged the man of the match for his 38-ball 65, said this at the press conference after the match.
