“I’m not happy, I can…”: India’s batting coach gives a strong response to Virat Kohli’s poor form in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

“I’m not happy. I would be happy if he continues and gets more runs. But yes, it’s good to be challenged sometimes,” Rathour was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

“You know, the guys who don’t get a lot of hits in India sometimes, they are the ones who score today and our middle players will play. So it was good to see you,” Rathour concluded.

Kohli’s importance as India’s top scorer in the last T20 World Cup adds to the hope that he will regain his form in the remaining Super Eight matches. Especially after the match against Bangladesh, India will face a top-class team Australia on Monday, highlighting the importance of Kohli’s resurgence in the upcoming crucial encounter.
