Despite the efforts from Najmul Hossain Shantowho scored 40 off 32 balls, and contributions from Tanzid Hasan (29 off 31) and Rishad Hossain (24 off 10), Bangladesh made a mistake in their pursuit. They managed to reach 146/8 in their 20 overs, down by 50 runs.

Arshdeep conceded 30 runs in his 4 overs, while Bumrah was exceptional with 2 wickets for 13 runs in his quota of four overs. Kuldeep Yadav he was also a big contributor, taking 3 wickets for 19 runs in his 4 overs, further hampering Bangladesh’s scoring chances. Hardik also took a wicket.
