Golf Business News – GameBook Golf signs PGA Tour player Sami Välimäki as brand ambassador

Golf GameBook, the leading golf app with over 1.5 million users worldwide, has signed Finnish PGA Tour player Sami Välimäki as its new global ambassador.

As part of the partnership Välimäki, 25, will play a key role in marketing the Golf GameBook, which aims to improve the golf experience by connecting players around the world with its innovative courses. As the only Finnish player on the PGA Tour, and one of the most promising talents in the sport, Välimäki will also be the face of Golf GameBook’s Junior Program in Finland.

Through a decade of personal use and experience, Välimäki has become an avid user and supporter of the Golf GameBook, which he considers the best golf program for himself and his peers.

“I have been using the Golf GameBook since 2014. It’s great to track my friends’ games through the app, even when I’m traveling around the world. Now, my friends and fans can follow my season very closely with Golf GameBook,” said Välimäki, who has won two DP World titles and is currently ranked 86th in the world.

Speaking about his role with Golf GameBook’s developing Junior Program in Finland, Välimäki added: “It’s great to be a part of enabling this and giving back to the sport. We will engage young players with exciting content and various challenges throughout the season.”
