The agent of Newcastle and Everton-targeted midfielder Yankuba Minteh has revealed that the player is in talks with another club.
After a season full of ups and downs, which saw them stripped of points midway through the season, Everton fans will be looking forward to starting with a fresh slate in August.
But before the new Premier League campaign begins, fans will be looking forward to some new additions that will help strengthen the squad and put a huge gap between them and the relegation zone in the summer window.
Sean Dyche’s side have been heavily linked with a new striker who could add much-needed energy to an ineffective forward line that lacks pace especially in both wide positions.
Agent talks Everton target
According to reports, Minteh from Newcastle is wanted by Everton and according to his agent Bakary Bojang, he is currently in talks with the club.
“I cannot confirm the clubs that contact us. We have agreed terms with one of the clubs. Now the rest is up to Newcastle.” He told Chronicle Live.
The right winger joined Eddie Howe’s side last summer from Odense BK and was quickly loaned out to Dutch side Feyenoord.
The 19-year-old had an impressive campaign in the Eredivisie last season, scoring 10 goals and registering six assists for his side while also netting one goal in the Champions League.
