The Los Angeles Lakers are pursuing Gary Trent Jr. as a key addition to bolster their roster along with stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
According to reports from Jovan Buha and Shams Charania of The Athletic, Trent Jr. he is among the top targets of the Lakers, who are willing to use the taxpayers’ midlevel options.
Trent Jr., currently an unrestricted free agent, ended up playing under a three-year, $51.8 million contract with the Toronto Raptors.
