Arsenal release the black, red and green African kit
Arsenal have released their kit this morning, taking inspiration from a link with the African side.
The Gunners have teamed up with British-African heritage brand Labrum London to produce an eye-catching zig-zag design that incorporates the traditional pan-African colors of red, black and green.
The club says “colours and cultural symbols come together to create a mural of the past and present to connect with the African diaspora in London and beyond – to champion the rich culture within the club and across our supporters’ backgrounds.”

Foday Dumbuya, founder of Labrum London, told the club’s website: “As a second-generation immigrant who grew up in London, I watched Arsenal’s amazing players with African heritage.
“These players were a good role model for me, playing the game in a fun way, but also representing the wider community I interact with.
“Arsenal as a club has a strong connection to this community, so it’s a very proud moment for me to work with them on this project.”
