Barcelona have released a new home kit for the 2024/25 season

Barcelona have unveiled their new home kit for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

The Catalan giants have released the first images of the shirt they will wear next season as they aim to reclaim the La Liga title from Real Madrid. Barca have gone back to the past, paying homage to the first kit they wore in 1899.

The simple blue and maroon two-panel design will be worn by Spain’s stars next season, highlighting the club’s long and successful legacy.

Their plans to connect current fans with legends of the past come as Barca look to celebrate their 125th anniversary, taking fans on a journey and bringing them closer to the club’s DNA.

In a video released by the club, Ronaldinho is the first to perform well in the area, feeding the current Barca stars while revisiting moments throughout history. Spanish teenager Lamine Yamal is one of the next players to emerge – showing the difference between the players of the past and the players of tomorrow.

The reveal also takes a closer look at what it means to be Catalan, allowing players to engage in some fun, cultural activities. Robert Lewandowski, Ronald Araujo and Pau Cubarsi were seen sharing tomato bread, before Pedri and Fermin Lopez sat down for a Spanish draw.

Barca’s new kit will be worn by both the men’s and women’s teams next season and fans will get their first taste of the exciting look when Hansi Flick’s side begin their pre-season tour of the United States.

The Spanish side will face Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan in North America before the campaign kicks off.
