Spurs are ‘inquiring’ into signing the Juventus star in a £25 million deal

Spurs have reportedly made an inquiry into signing Juventus striker Federico Chiesa.

That’s according to the latest report from Fichajes, who claim that Premier League players are interested in learning the Old Lady’s asking price for the Italian.

Although not alone in their pursuit of the 26-year-old, Spurs could take an early lead after holding talks with the Serie A giants over a summer transfer.

Believed to be worth £25 million, Chiesa, who represented Italy at the EUROS, could be one of the most sought-after attackers on the market this summer.

Spurs could sign Federico Chiesa as a replacement for Richarlison

Despite joining the Turin club on a permanent deal just two years ago, the Genoa-born player has struggled in recent times with his performances and results. And following the disappointment of third-placed Juventus in Serie A, Chiesa looks like a likely player to be dropped.

Federico Chiesa for Spurs

For Spurs, this is good news. Ange Postecoglou already sees Richarlison heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia’s rich Pro League and both Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadsiah are reportedly ‘preparing big offers’ for the Brazilian.

So, Chiesa, who has just 12 months left on his contract in Turin, could be his replacement, and, if Postecoglou brings the Italian back to his best, it would be a significant improvement as well.
