Spain defeated China in a thriller to decide the women’s basketball tournament in Paris 2024, the first game to go to extra time.
When the dust settled, FIBA EuroCup Women’s Megan Gustafson’s 29 points and eight rebounds guided the Spaniards to a 90-89 victory in Group A that had the crowd on the edge of their seats.
The result is difficult for China, who almost won the game in the final seconds of regulation.
