Roe: “No. Well, you’re going to, I don’t know, how the fans are going to react when you say you’ve thought about it. But you know like friends say, ‘Love, play the Leafs like you’re exactly what we need.'”
Montour: “Yeah, no, I mean you get that, especially now. Just little things, you know, I’m up north right now. Even my neighbors, my friends and my neighbors used to catch their breath, you know I don’t do that much in the media but people watch that, Leafs fans, Canadian fans. You know, as soon as you leave here, your friends and family hear about it on the radio, and rumors and stuff.
But also, personally, the last three, four months I’ve been very focused on trying to achieve this thing, you know, for our team. And, that was something for my agent to manage, to work on. You know, all I was focused on was hockey. So after that, you know.
There have been discussions, you know, I mean, you’ve looked at their list. You look at yourself, and you know, for me, I looked at myself and I saw a player and he could definitely help and I was interesting, you know, that week. There were talks, but also, there’s a lot to do with the family and what they need and what I need and business decisions and, things like that.

You know, we’re, we’re excited, we thought about it, but tons of options, you know, for us and you know, obviously thanks to Seattle and you know, we’re excited about that experience and we’re excited to get it. down there and you’re just getting to know, you might say, a new organization.
