Golf Business News – 59club partner Robincroft to deliver ‘FTSE 100 ready’ Leadership Course

The 59club has commissioned live instruction in person, with the sole purpose of supporting current and future industry leaders – and it’s unlike anything we’ve seen in golf before.

Starting in the UK and Ireland in October 2024, the creators of this flagship Leadership program are Andy Siddall and Paul Chapman of Robincroft Consulting Ltd, both considered experts in their field as they have supported many FTSE 100 companies to develop successful leaders under their guidance .

Simon Wordsworth, CEO of 59club says, “Our data has long shown that inspirational leadership equates to effective metrics. Over the years we have run two six week courses with Gregg Patterson, and developed a six month course with Lora Cavan, both of which have been very successful with staff and employers.

“After the success of those first two courses, we explored, sought feedback and found out what the industry felt was missing – in short, we identified a desire to learn more outside of the golf industry, a desire to learn in smaller sessions over a longer period of time, a need to connect with instructors in person, and regular 1-1 sessions supporting understanding and implementation, and ultimately, value for money to the employer. “

The ‘team sport’ pitch sounded like a good fit, as did Robincroft, who came highly recommended and respected. Andy has spent his career working in the fields of education and sport as a playing coach, while Paul has an extensive business background as an FTSE executive in both the banking and property industries.

The bespoke leadership program is fully inclusive and made available to the entire golf industry. The course lasts for two years, with 10 full contact days equally divided during that time and regular contact points between each stage, and although it is available to all, the 59club has received a significant discount for both 59 customers and PGA affiliate members who want to do like that. they passed their leadership style.
