Wachter: “Now we will go to a group that may surprise us. And I really liked your answer to this one because it’s about, you talk about finding that perfect fit. Just a little change can go a long way and change is in the right place here in this case, your choice is Utah.
Boudreau: “Yes, and the reason I think that, is simple. I’ve been in groups that have changed to others, or are going to cities for the first time, and I think this will be a pleasant surprise. (A) for participants from Arizona, that they don’t have to worry every day where they are going, where their children will go to school next week, next year, and everything else.
Utah is a big hockey town and they added three quality defensemen. I think that is a very big thing. You know what I mean? They added three defenders, I think their goal is good and low because they were getting a lot of shots on goal against them last year.
But I mean you add those three quality defenders to a team that wants to win and is motivated to play in their new hometown. I think they will be an amazing team.
And they all could skate, like I mean, they did a great job of drawing kids who could skate. Now put them in a place where they’re going to have over 4,500 fans, their fans there at the game and I think they can really surprise you.”
Wachter: “Yes, I think it will be a show in town as well. I’m excited to see hockey in Utah at the NHL level.”
