The report also says that Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Chelsea are willing to sign the defender. It will be interesting to see if they can secure a deal with Liverpool in the remaining days of the transfer window.
Gomez has been an exceptional worker for Liverpool since joining the club. He has proven to be a reliable defender and his versatility will be an added bonus. The 27-year-old can operate as a central defender, defensive midfielder and full-back on either side. He would be a good fit for clubs like Chelsea.
He has experience playing for a big team as well. He won the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool.
