The club can sign Marcus Edwards for 25 million euros
There are plenty of transfer deals to be done with just a week and a half left in the summer window.
Crystal Palace have not been very active in the market so far, despite signing a few players at the start of the summer.
Oliver Glasner will be well aware of how well his side performed in the last few games of last season, and the Palace boss will no doubt want to build on those successes.
To that end, the Sporting Witness ran the first story from Portuguese outlet Record, suggesting that Sporting are keen to offload North London coach Marcus Edwards.
Things have not progressed beyond the idea of a €25m-€30m transfer, which would see Tottenham profit as they still own 35 per cent of his rights.
Edwards doesn’t seem to fit into the club’s plans going forward, so a move to Selhurst Park couldn’t have come at a better time.
