Is Chelsea vs Servette on TV?
Chelsea got off to a good start to their Premier League campaign on Sunday afternoon but have a chance to get a first win under Enzo Maresca on Thursday.
The Blues lost 2-0 to Manchester City following the Champions League display and questions continue to be asked about the club’s handling of the transfer market. However, a convincing win against Swiss side Servette in midweek could go a long way towards pleasing the Stamford Bridge faithful.
Chelsea will face the Swiss Super League side in the Conference League in the first leg of their play-off qualifiers. The winner of the clash in both legs will automatically qualify for the 36-team extended league stage of the competition.
Here’s how you can watch Chelsea vs Servette on TV.
The first leg of Chelsea’s clash with Servette will take place at Stamford Bridge on Thursday 22 August, with the match kicking off at 20:00 BST. This is the first time these teams will face each other.
It is also Chelsea’s debut in the Conference League, which is Europe’s third most prestigious continental competition. The Blues qualified for the Europa League after finishing sixth in the Premier League last season but Manchester United’s victory in the FA Cup final meant Chelsea were relegated to the ECL.
Although TNT Sports has the rights to all three European competitions for 2024/25, it will not show Chelsea’s clash with Servette in Thursday’s qualifier.
Instead, fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland will have to watch the game Chelsea’s official websiteby going over to watch the game worth £4.99. However, that price includes reaching the second leg against Servette, too.
The game is also available to international viewers on the club’s website, with highlights released at midnight on Thursday.
Of course, residents of the UK and Ireland can listen to the game, too. talkSPORT 2 Radio will provide an audio stream of the crash.
