Napoli’s plan for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is bad news for Liverpool

Liverpool have been told how much the upcoming signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will cost.

Although the Reds are well stocked in the left-back department, Arne Slot is rumored to be a big fan of the Georgia striker.

The chances of the Reds reaching an agreement with Napoli this summer are remote though.

Speaking recently about the 23-year-old’s status, which continues to see him linked with a move to Anfield, the leading transfer expert. CaughtOffside Fabrizio Romano, said: “I have nothing. Zero confirmation on Kvaratskhelia and Liverpool. Napoli has been clear.

“They trust him and want to continue with him under Antonio Conte. Napoli’s position on Kvaratskhelia is very clear. Nothing going on with Liverpool at the moment. “

And echoing Romano’s details, a recent report from HITC claims that Liverpool’s move for Kvaratskhelia may come to fruition but even so, he will cost a staggering price.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Napoli midfielder Kvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Georgian has three years left on his contract at the Diego Maradona Stadium but his deal does not include a release clause. And in the same way that the Italians convinced Victor Osimhen to renew his contract last year, Napoli’s decision-makers are preparing to offer Kvaratskhelia new terms but with a release clause, and that figure will be at least £100 million.

So for Liverpool to sign the 23-year-old, they would have to be prepared to break the bank as Napoli are unlikely to negotiate a deal anytime soon.

In two years at Naples, Kvaratskhelia, who played a major role in his team winning the Serie A title in 2022-23, was directly involved in more than 50 goals in 91 games in all competitions.
