Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper + MORE!

The future is bright. The 2024 SLAM HS Boys All-Americans feature an outstanding class of standouts—one of whom has already graced the cover of SLAM—who have been cooking up competition on their high school teams this year. Next up: college hoops.

From legends like Christian Laettner and Grant Hill to the flamboyant Zion Williamson, there was always a star to carry on the legacy of the Blue Devils. Now, it’s Cooper Flagg’s turn. Get ready, Cameron Crazies, because Flag is about to cause mayhem unlike anything seen before.

The light is always green for Isaiah Evans. Be it a quarterback, be it a team, a lethal scorer will never find anything less than a bucket. Despite being largely overlooked in his early playing career, bucket by bucket, Evans has stepped up. The forward—nicknamed “Baby Brandon Ingram”—will suit up at one of the nation’s most prestigious programs, where he will continue to prove doubters wrong.

The son of five-time NBA champion Ron Harper, Dylan Harper has all of his father’s best qualities and more. The versatile floor general wears mismatched shoes and talks his talk every chance he gets, but with the ball in his hands, he also has a killer physique. If his performance in high school proves anything, it’s that Harper will be a star.

VJ Edgecombe is a flaming sensation in a revolutionary era. The uber-athletic guard led the NIBC in scoring as a junior and put up a stat sheet en route to a 21-5 record in his senior season. Make no mistake—as soon as he gets into the Bears’ zone, the top scorer will be allowed to take off.

Keep throwing any defensive scheme at Tre Johnson, it won’t matter: the sharp shooter will always find a way to put the ball in the basket. Any low position is fair game for a guard who makes his living putting defenders on skates. Johnson’s addition alone is enough to make Texas hoops must-see television.
