Rick Carlisle was thrown into the Pacers’ meltdown vs. Knicks in Game 2

In Game 2 against the New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle was ejected after a strange turn of events. With the Knicks leading 124-118 with 1:19 left in the fourth quarter, Isaiah Hartenstein was called for a double dribble.

A subsequent review revealed no foul, leading the umpires to write off the initial call as “unintentional.” Carlisle then got into a heated confrontation with referee Marc Davis, resulting in two technical fouls in the final 41 seconds of the game and his subsequent ejection.
