Batting first, Calicut Globstars struggled to build momentum, managing just 104 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Arun KAthe opening batsman for the Globestars, stood out with 38 runs in 37 balls, but his efforts were not enough to set the opposition a difficult goal.

In reply, Aries Kollam Sailors chased down the target with ease, scoring 106 runs and losing only two wickets in the 17th over. Abhishek Nair he was the star of the chase, producing a brilliant performance of 61 runs off 47 balls, including three fours and four sixes. His knock was instrumental in guiding his team to an eight-wicket win.
