The international break at least gives us time to digest what has been the third week of European football.

The striker almost single-handedly scored Leipzig’s 3-2 win over the reigning champions, scoring a fine goal in the second half at the Bay Arena.

It took longer than expected, but Kylian Mbappe showed what he was all about in his fourth La Liga game on Sunday.

After scoring against Mallorca, Real Valladolid and Las Palmas, Mbappe scored twice against Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu, heading into the international break without the pressure of a long-awaited La Liga goal.
