Kenyon Martin on Jonas Valanciunas joining Wizards: “What were you thinking, kid?”

Kenyon Martin expressed his confusion over Jonas Valanciunas’ decision to join the Washington Wizards next season.

Valanciunas, who signed a two-year, $30 million contract with the Wizards, left many, including Martin, questioning the move.

Martin, speaking Gil’s placehe didn’t hold back, he said, “What were you thinking, boy?” in response to the decision of the Lithuanian institution.

The Wizards, who won just 15 games last season, are in a rebuilding phase.
