Christian Wood underwent knee surgery, and was re-evaluated in eight weeks

Lakers center Christian Wood underwent successful surgery on his left knee, the team announced. The procedure was done to address an ongoing problem, and Wood is expected to begin his rehabilitation process immediately.

Although it is hoped that he will make a good recovery, the team said that Wood will be re-evaluated in about eight weeks to assess his progress.
