He rose to prominence following a viral video in 2021, and in 2022 he was invited by the PGA of America and the PGA Tour to demonstrate his technique with other PGA players.
Paul-Gindiri attended Contra Costa College and played football before taking up golf.
On February 28, 2021, a TikTok video of him playing golf with others at Diablo Creek Golf Course in Concord, California, received five million views.
His golf club driving earned him the moniker Snappy Gilmore, a reference to the movie Happy Gilmore, and he was featured in Barstool Sports, Golf Magazine, Sports Illustrated, and SportsCenter.
On March 15, 2022, Genesis Motor sponsored a friendly match between six-time PGA Tour winner Max Homa and Snappy.
The video compares Paul-Gindiri’s driving against Homa’s two-handed control.
Jokingly, both announced the result as a draw.
