The Netherlands beat Germany, Greece beat Ireland

Germany were hosted by the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday night.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side had to come from behind after Tijjani Reijnders’ goal put the hosts in the driving seat before Deniz Undav’s strike and Joshua Kimmich put Germany ahead at the break.

But Denzel Dumfries netted five minutes into the second half to make it 2-2, with neither team able to break through in the remaining period.

It was an even affair which means both sides go through with four points in League A Group 3.

Hungary 0-0 Bosnia and Herzegovina

There was nothing to separate the two League A sides in action overnight.

The hosts – ranked 31st by FIFA, dominated the game, had 21 shots compared to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s seven, but could not find the net at the Puskas Arena.

Albania 0-1 Georgia

Georgia won 1-0 away to Albania in League B of the United Nations.

Giorgi Kochorashvili scored the only goal of the match, scoring from 30 yards in the 71st minute, earning himself the Man of the Match award.

Czech Republic 3-2 Ukraine

Czech Republic and Ukraine played an exciting match in Prague, the hosts later won.

Pavel Sulc opened the scoring for the home side, but was denied by goals from Vladyslav Vanat and Georgiy Sudakov before West Ham’s Tomas Soucek converted a penalty 10 minutes from time.

England 2-0 Finland

Harry Kane made his 100th appearance for England by scoring twice in a 2-0 win over Finland.

It was a comfortable night for the Three Lions as they made it two out of two under Lee Carsley.

Republic of Ireland 0-2 Greece

The Republic of Ireland could not come back from losing to England against Greece, losing 2-0 in Dublin.

Fotis Ioannidis and Christos Tzolis scored in the second half to ease Ireland’s spirits at the break.

Latvia 1-0 Faroe Islands

137th-ranked Latvia beat 138th-ranked Faroe Islands 1-0 at home.

Renars Varslavans scored the only goal in the game, netting in the 64th minute to move Latvia within one point of League C Group 4 leaders North Macedonia.

North Macedonia 2-0 Armenia

North Macedonia’s red card in the first half did not stop them from beating Armenia.

The hosts won 2-0, with two goals in 10 minutes sealing the deal for Blagoja Milevski’s team.

Andorra 0-1 Malta

Malta took one of the few chances against Andorra to collect three points on the way.

Ryan Camenzuli netted at halftime for the only goal of the game.
