Indian team coach Morne Morkel picks his favorite Indian food

Morkel said he is a fan of puri, loves dosas for breakfast, and loves milk, malai, chicken, and naan bread. As a coach, he emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy diet in order to set a good example for his players.

“I am a big fan of puri, and for breakfast, I enjoy dosas. I also like milk, malai, chicken, and naan bread. But it is important for me as a coach to maintain a healthy diet, to be an example to the players,” Morkel said in the interview.

Upcoming series with Bangladesh

As India preparing for Bangladesh series from September 19, 2024with two Test matches and three T20 Internationals, Morkel will be entering his first series as the team’s bowling coach. This home series is important for India, especially after their recent ODI series defeat Sri Lanka.
