As the minutes ticked by, Emery appeared to be furious with Ross Barkley while he was happy to see his team win.
Sky Sports analyst, Adam Bate, described how he saw Ross Barkley, who seemed to have made a mistake with the ball, being upset by Unai Emery.
“Emery is furious, I think, Barkley surprised the crowd. It is still very much needed,” said Bate.
Barkley has clearly learned his lesson this time, and Emery will be hoping he doesn’t get too hard on himself for the rest of the season.
