Ange Postecoglou makes bold “I always win” claim after NLD defeat

Ange Postecoglou made a big statement after his side suffered a heavy 1-0 defeat against their rivals on Sunday afternoon.

In one of the most anticipated games this season, Arsenal will face Spurs in the North London Derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Although Mikel Arteta’s side are regarded as potential Premier League champions, it was the Gunner’s recent injury that made it a fair fight.

But with a change of pitch, Arsenal were able to wrap up the result, with Gabriel Magalhaes’ header making the difference in the game.

However, Spurs’ result marked their worst start in nine years as they managed just one win in their opening four games against Everton.

Ange Postecoglou makes a bold claim

Despite this fact, Postecoglou was very confident of his side’s chances of silverware after the final whistle as he stated that he ‘always wins’ in his second year.

“I always win in my second year,” he told Sky Sports News.

The Australian manager will immediately focus on next weekend’s game against Brentford before their Europa League campaign gets underway.
