Dane Moore: In the middle of one of his answers to a question unrelated to Jaden McDaniels, Anthony Edwards stopped his answer to shout out not just McDaniels’ defense but his willingness to play that defense without getting the ball on offense: “But I just did. I want to give a shout out to Jaden McDaniels before I get out of here. He has been phenomenal throughout the finals and this series in particular. I think he’s like +51 or something and he probably only had 5 points, took 3 shots and every two games. And he’s not complaining, keep guarding, keep picking up the full court. And we wouldn’t be the team we are today, we wouldn’t be the team we were in the regular season. I hope we can keep him out and he can continue to play like that because that is the x-factor of the team. We are very grateful for everything he brings, man.
