“Here we go” – Fabrizio Romano drops update on Man United target
Free midfielder and Manchester United target Adrien Rabiot is closing in on a move to Olympique Marseille, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The midfielder became a free agent this summer after leaving Juventus and since then, he has been linked with many different clubs across Europe, most notably Man United.
The Red Devils have made major changes to their squad this summer, with the club focusing on midfield as well.
Scott McTominay was the mainstay in midfield this summer when Manuel Ugarte joined the club.
Casemiro’s form has shown that the Red Devils need more reinforcements in midfield while Christian Eriksen is nearing the end of his career and United’s management needs to make changes in midfield.
According to Caught Offside sources, Man United have been interested in the French midfielder and have inquired about signing him this summer.
The midfielder is now heading to France to play for Marseille, as reported by Romano.
An Italian journalist wrote on his X account:
“Olympique Marseille are in advanced talks to sign Adrien Rabiot as a new midfielder!
“Discussions are ongoing with Rabiot on the terms of the contract.
“OM is hoping to have it done in the next 48h – here we are, waiting for you soon!”

Man United are returning to form after a poor start
The Red Devils will be happy to get back to winning ways after beating Southampton in Saturday’s opening game.
Erik ten Hag’s side won the match 3-0, thanks to goals from Matthijs de Ligt, Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.
After a poor start to the season, they finally have something to celebrate and build on.
The Red Devils will face Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa next in the Premier League.
