TSN: Chris Johnston says the Columbus Blue Jackets will look at PTOs and will keep an eye on the waiver wire, but are active in the trade market and willing to be patient.
“I think they are also very busy in the trade market, trying to see if there are any conditions around the league, maybe some young players who can be found in other teams as they work on their roster problems, trying to get the cap to comply with opening night. But the logic is that the Blue Jackets are going to be patient here, and they may end up developing this through a trade, versus the traditional route of just signing one.”
