Golf Business News – DP World Tour marks World Alzheimer’s Day

September is World Alzheimer’s month and Saturday, September 21St World Alzheimer’s Day.

The Alzheimer’s Society and the DP World Tour are working together to raise awareness and help fans learn the signs and symptoms of dementia. Together they produced the video below which was released on Saturday morning at 9am (BST)

Great golf shouldn’t be forgotten, but sadly for the millions of people living with dementia around the world, it isn’t. About 55 million people worldwide have dementia, with Alzheimer’s disease being the most common form.

This is the forgotten state.

The Alzheimer’s Society provides help and hope to everyone with dementia, supporting people with dementia through some of the most difficult and frightening times.
