Los Angeles Clippers veteran Kawhi Leonard underwent surgery on his right knee during the offseason, raising concerns as the team approaches training camp.
He will be limited during camp, and president of basketball Lawrence Frank is unsure if he will be ready for the season opener. However, Frank expressed optimism about Leonard’s performance this season, noting that Leonard feels he is improving.
Leonard struggled with right knee inflammation last season, missing the final eight games of the regular season and half of the playoffs.
