Preview Presidents Cup Day 2
Thursday’s opening match featured five four-ball matches, and the batting was closed throughout the day. But toward the end of the round, the American team took over, closing out wins and turning others around.
When the final putt dropped, the Americans had swept the opening session, taking a 5-0 lead over the Internationals heading into Friday’s second round.
But the international team has lost three of these games by 1 point, meaning they are beyond their means to return on Friday, which will be five games.
You can watch Friday’s games at the Presidents Cup on TV with the Golf Channel, which will air a special from 1-6 pm ET. NBCSports.com will provide live streaming coverage to viewers with an active cable subscription.
