David Stockton has reached an agreement with the Phoenix Suns on an Exhibit 10 contract, according to a league source via Spotrac’s Keith Smith.
This type of contract often serves as a way for players to join an NBA team’s G League affiliate, and in Stockton’s case, it appears that he will soon be joining the newly formed G League team, the Valley Suns.
The Valley Suns acquired his returner rights in a trade the previous day, putting Stockton in position to play with the team.
