For the second day in a row, there was no play in the second Test between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur. Unlike Saturday, there was not a single drop of rain today but the wet pitch led to the game being called off at 2pm. The strange thing is that as soon as the referees made that decision, the sun appeared from behind the clouds.
After three days, Bangladesh are 107 for 3 in the first innings of the Test. There are still two days left but the chances of a result are very slim.
The day began with the covers being removed from the field, with testing scheduled for 10am. Soon, the ground crew removed the main cover and started marking the crease on both sides of the field.
