Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis, who is 28 years old, has announced his retirement from the team. In a recent interview with HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, Sabonis discussed the possibility of building a long-term legacy in Sacramento.
Asked if he sees himself retiring with the Kings, Sabonis responded with an affirmation. “Yes, of course. They are just ready. It was a surprise. The fans played well,” he said. He stressed that staying in one place is important for building history, adding, “You can’t do it if you’re not in one place and doing good things for that team.”
Sabonis admitted that his future in this team depends on his performance and the success of the Kings.
