Twitter reaction: Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan drive GT to dominant win over CSK in IPL 2024

In a high-octane clash of powerhouses, Gujarat Titans (GT) square against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 59 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Gujarat won the tournament and achieved victory by 35 runs.

Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan has been singing for centuries

Winning the toss, CSK opted to bowl first, aiming to use whatever early advantage the pitch provided. However, the Titans batting order had other plans. Despite some brief opposition from David Miller and Shahrukh Khan, the Titans ended their innings by scoring 231/3 after 20 overs.

Daryl Mitchell, Ravindra Jadeja knocks are not enough for CSK to turn the tables

Facing a formidable chase, Chennai Super Kings need a big effort from their batting line-up. However, their pursuit encountered early setbacks, with the top order failing to make an impact. Daryl Mitchell he emerged as a lone hero from the ruins, smashing 63 runs from 34 overs, accompanied by seven fours and three sixes.

Menzi Ali he put on a brave 56 off 36 balls, but the Titans bowling attack kept the pressure on. Despite late cameos since Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadejaand former captain MS Dhonithe Super Kings fell short in scoring, managing 196/8 in their 20 overs.

In the bowling department, Gujarat Titans’ Umesh Yadav again Rashid Khan showed their creativity, they took out important sticks to reduce the pressure of Super Kings. Mohit Sharma he was the best bowler, taking three wickets to stop the opposition.
