Golf Business News – Topgolf Watford opens gaming arcade
Topgolf Watford has expanded its range of family-friendly activities with the opening of a new golf course, following a major investment of more than £100,000.
The state-of-the-art arcade is now open to play in the Hertfordshire area and offers a changing range of over 20 games for visitors of all ages, including old favorites such as pool and air hockey to the latest in video-based action games. .
Guests can pick up a game card at a Topgolf kiosk, fill their card with credits, try their hand at any of the arcade games, and maybe win some prizes. Offering competitive fun with friends and family in solo game sessions, it’s a great addition to Topgolf Watford’s range of entertainment.
To celebrate the launch, Topgolf Watford is offering 100 hours of free arcade play from September 30 to October 6. Guests will have the chance to win one of 200 game cards, each loaded with 30 minutes of free play. The mechanic is simple: play Topgolf as usual, and if you’re lucky enough to pull out a special, colored golf ball before your game, you can use a free playing card. Around 30 colored balls will be loaded into the ball machine each day during the promotion, giving players more chances to win.
“We are delighted to open our new arcade at Topgolf Watford as part of our ongoing mission to provide our guests with fun, unique and memorable experiences,” said Adam Dukes, Director of Operations at Topgolf Watford. “We are committed to investing in our Watford area and providing the best local offer, and this development is an important part of that.
