Both the Bulldogs and Gamecocks have been hosts in our recent NCAA Tournaments, and the two square off this weekend in Columbia. Sitting at 13-11, both teams are hoping for a 16-17 win, which will put them in a strong position to host an NCAA Regional and Top 16 seed. Currently, Georgia has the upper hand with an RPI of 5 compared to the Gamecocks’ RPI of 14. However, a series win for the Gamecocks this weekend would obviously change the equation a bit.[…]
