Newly Retired Kings Player in Relationship with Sacramento Exec

Former Kings guard Jeremy Lamb announced his retirement from basketball last month, but he won’t be leaving without some shame.

He is dating the daughter of Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé, Anjali, who has been the GM of the G-League team, Stockton Kings, since June 2023.

Anjali resigned from the post in January and at the time, “it was reported that she resigned to pursue other activities”, TMZ he says.

IWundlu joined Kinga via trade in February 2022. He was waived a year later, but was brought back to the G-League in November, playing under Anjali until he was sidelined for the season due to a back injury in March.

It’s not clear if the two met before they both left for Sacramento or not, but the teams don’t take kindly to the internal meeting. When Ime Udoka had an affair with a Celtics employee, she was suspended for the entire 2022-23 season for violating the club’s policies.

So, one has to wonder if Anjali and Lamb were maintaining their relationship before they left the Kings.

The couple went public with their relationship in an Instagram post. The post shows them kissing on one of the slides and playing with wolf dogs to promote Anjali’s Jaws and Paws zoo.

Lamb played a total of ten seasons in the NBA for the Thunder, Hornets, Pacers and Kings and was a lottery pick in 2012.

“Basketball has been good to me my whole life, so this decision did not come easily, but I have decided to retire from this game that has given me everything,” Lamb wrote on Instagram in August. “Now, it’s time to catch another dream!”

Lamb is only 32 years old, too young to finish an NBA career, but he suffered serious injuries, including ACL and MCL tears in 2019, and his skills never recovered.
