Tyler Herro talks about the possibility of coming off the bench for the Heat

Tyler Herro, a key player for the Miami Heat, has spoken candidly about the possibility of switching to a bench position in the upcoming 2024-25 season. Herro has been a consistent starter, starting 107 of 109 games over the past two seasons.

“Whatever they say I am, that’s who I am,” Herro said at the Heat’s news day. “I can say that I am a starter, coming from the bench. We will let go of the best coach in the league [Erik Spoelstra] decide.”

The 24-year-old guard emphasized his commitment to the team’s success, regardless of his role.
