Nominations for the England Golf Awards 2025, to be held next spring, are now open.
This year, there will be 12 awards and new names inducted into the England Golf Hall of Fame, and all will be revealed in a glittering evening at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate.
You can now submit nominations for those great people, clubs and regions who have gone above and beyond in 2024, in growing the game we love.
As last year the golf clubs linked up with England Golf and helped make the game more inclusive and accessible, there will be a new category added to the list of awards. ‘Location of the Year’ will recognize the achievements of an outstanding institution.
Last February, to celebrate its centenary, England Golf celebrated at the Midland Manchester Hotel and recognized 12 founders who have entered the England Golf Hall of Fame, and 2025 will see more faces added to that legendary list.

– Lifetime Service Award
– Volunteer of the Year
– Young Person of the Year (formerly Junior Volunteer of the Year)
– Engagement and Development Coach of the Year
– Women & Girls Trailblazer
– Tribute to the Golf Award (former Diversity & Inclusion Champion)
– Annual Performance (internal proposals)
– Place of the Tournament of the Year (internal proposals)
All nominations are public nominations excluding Performance of the Year and Tournament of the Year, and Hall of Fame inductees will be determined by a panel of experts.
Golf England Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Tomlinson said: “We have celebrated and enjoyed a special centenary year, as well as heralding another year of continued growth for the game of golf in England. Our England Golf team and clubs, regions and thousands of volunteers continue to encourage more people to take part, but also more people who are happy to call themselves golfers.
“We look forward to welcoming the 2024 lights to the awards in April, where we will celebrate all the games and the incredible work of the many volunteers in the sport.”
