After three turbulent years, where they continued to finish in the bottom four Indian Premier League (IPL) standing, Sunriers Hyderabad (SRH) made an impressive comeback in IPL 2024, finishing as runners-up.

Over 15 matches, he amassed 567 runs at an impressive strike rate of 191.55. His ability to score goals and keep his composure under pressure has made him one of the most watched players in the tournament.

Head’s performance included outstanding performances such as his 102 off just 41 balls Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and two 89 back-to-back counters Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) again Delhi Capitals (DC). His explosive style and his ability to end the bowling attack early in the innings gave SRH a vital boost throughout the tournament. In 16 matches, he has scored 479 runs at an average of 39.92 and a strike rate of 171.07, including hundreds four years.

Klaasen’s ability to change the mood of the game with his powerful hitting style makes him a dominant player. His exceptional form continued last season, where he scored 448 runs in 12 matches, showing his consistency. In IPL 2024, he played all 16 matches and boasts 577 runs from 50 matches at a strike rate of 146.08.

Known for his powerful batting ability, especially in the death overs, Samad’s skills make him a valuable asset in the SRH lineup. He has the ability to end matches with his batting prowess and is considered an important part of SRH’s batting depth going forward. His retention will give SRH a flexible option to rush the score during critical stages of the game.
